Most autonomous underwater vehicles equipped with multiple payloads cost in excess of $500,000 per unit. This cost is a major obstacle, as it is hard to come up with enough funds to buy more than one, which means there is no redundancy. Users are also much more cautious and anxious when deploying their expensive equipment. As a result, high cost and deployment anxiety hinder the democratization of AUVs, despite the enormous need for ocean exploration.
At SEABER, our industrial approach and our 1 AUV = 1 payload product strategy enable us to offer AUVs at less than $80,000, while maintaining top-of-the-range performance. Our unique approach and added value are recognized by many users around the world. 🌏
🙏🏼 Many thanks to our Norwegian customers and to one of our distributors in Australia, @Jurgen of @Grey 4 Blue Solutions Pty for these great photos and SSS data! 📸
