SEABER is equipping some European navies with MCM autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs)
The current geopolitical situation in the Near and Middle East has prompted some European Navies to initiate the urgent procurement of lightweight Mine Countermeasures (MCM) systems.
SEABER’s lightweight, cost-effective and fully Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) are designed to support the detection phase of mine clearance operations. Deployable and operated by a single person, these systems perform high-resolution acoustic imaging of the seabed, combining an onboard side-scan sonar with SEABER’s advanced INX navigation technology.
The resulting sonar imagery enables the reliable detection and identification of mine-like objects within complex seabed environments.
SEABER is proud to contribute to the maritime security and protection missions of Allied Navies, while supporting their transition towards hybrid naval models that seamlessly integrate manned and unmanned capabilities.
