MARVEL UUVs real-time tracking at Dronathlon!

SEABER proudly took part in the first DRONATHLON organized by the French Navy Marine Nationale, DGA – Direction générale de l’armement and Defense Innovation Agency (Agence de l’innovation de défense).

Along with Marine Tech, Hologarde and HEXADRONE, we participated in the consortium called Poséidrones. 🦾
While an arial drone flew over a land area, the RSV Sea Observer was equipped with an USBL beacon to track and geolocate 2 SEABER Micro-UUVs in real time.
All of the drones and underwater vehicles were tracked in real time by the operations department on the Navy’s C2.
Our AUVs excelled in coastal mapping and mine detection in difficult sea conditions. 🌊
